Short sleeves weren’t used until 4 or 5 years later, followed by Dexter: Resurrection (2025). I went into this with pretty low expectations and was mostly excited about Resurrection. The beginning of the first episode was awkward with the edits and the CGI police car, and I thought “wow, this is going to be a flop”. By the end of the first episode, I was already eating my words as the actors embodied their characters perfectly and the story showed immense promise. While we already know most of the backstory, there were a few surprises in the first episode that added depth to the characters we’ve come to know and love, and added context to the decisions the characters made. I’ve only watched one episode and I’m hooked!
